As part of the exhibition, Lab’Bel is organizing a roundtable discussion featuring Paulo Miyada (Instituto Tomie Ohtake, São Paulo – Centre Pompidou, Paris), Vanessa Pastorini (University of São Paulo, EHESS, Anthropology Laboratory of the Collège de France), and moderated by Silvia Guerra, co-curator of the exhibition.

Through a conversation shaped by Cruzeiro do Sul, the speakers will explore the artistic and political context in which the work was created in the late 1960s, during Brazil’s military dictatorship, and will reflect on its aesthetic, political, and symbolic dimensions.
